Listen carefully to the words …

This was filmed in my home town … and believe it or not … I do recognize every scene in the video, but not the main characters.  However, it wouldn’t surprise me if I discovered that I know them or someone related to them.  That’s how small the place is.

Yes, the capitol dome is plated with 14k gold.  That is true.  Yes, all the rednecks live in Barre (pronounced, barrie).  Everything else is pretty much true too.  This is just hilarious.

    I have a quick favor to ask. I’m teaching Ben about Jamestown over the next few weeks as it’s the 400th anniversary. I’ve found some great stuff via the 400th anniversary website, but wondered if you were aware of anything more local online, as you’re in Virginia. Email me if you do know! Sorry to put this on your comments, but I’m on Jonathan’s laptop as the keyboard to my computer has broken – don’t get a wireless keyboard, been nothing but a headache to me!
